Previous campaigns
Since 2005, three previous Water for Life campaigns have run to raise awareness and increase community understanding of the range of initiatives being implemented to secure Sydney’s water supply as part of the Metropolitan Water Plan. These campaigns also reinforced the important role the community plays in helping save water.
Evaluation of campaigns run to date show that almost 9 in 10 Sydneysiders are aware of Government actions to secure Sydney’s water and 8 out of every 10 residents are regularly taking action to save water – that’s around 3.3 million people who are actively saving water in greater Sydney.
The Water for Life campaigns are an initiative of the NSW Government's Water for Life Education Program.
