About the Plan

Water for Life is the overarching brand for the NSW Government’s Metropolitan Water Plan – the long-term plan to secure Sydney's water future.

This site has the latest news and information on the Plan's initiatives such as recycling, reducing demand, increasing supply, defence against drought and rivers and catchments. Plus, there is information about how you can save water.

You'll also find all you need to know about the supporting Education Program that aims to inform and engage the community about the Plan through a wide range of measures, including an advertising campaign and a Community Partnership Program.
