Funding sources
The Water for Life Education Program develops partnerships with organisations to deliver targetted education projects.
Water for Life Funding:
Water Education grants were previously available to assist eligible councils and community organisations to deliver leading practice local water education projects. Applcations for the Water for Life Education Projects Funding Package closed on 24 April 2009.
Other potential funding sources for water education projects include:

- Environmental Education Grants
- Urban Sustainability Program
- NSW Government's Climate Change Fund
- Sydney Metropolitan Catchment Management Authority - Community Grants Program Expression of Interest
- NSW City and Country Environment Restoration Program
- NSW Government Environment Trust
- Australian Government’s Community Water Grants
- Australian Government's Water Fund
- WSN Environmental Solutions Grass Roots Program.
