School tools

Community education about the importance of water resources starts in schools and continues throughout life.

The Water for Life Professional development and resources for teachers and schools project is currently underway, developing tools and resources for water educators.

There are also a broad range of water education materials and opportunities for schools and the community online. These include:

Australian Water Education Toolkit - this is designed to help teachers, schools and students find water education resource material from all around Australia
Blue Planet website - coordinated by Gosford/Wyong Councils' Water Authority to resource high school teachers, students and the rest of the community with up to date national and local information on a range of water topics
