Rebates and Offers
Did you know that households use almost 70 per cent of the water consumed in Sydney, Illawarra and the Blue Mountains? Only by working together can we reduce the amount of water we use.
One of the ways the NSW is helping you to help secure Sydney's water for life, is by offering rebates that will save water in and around your home:
- WaterFix* - for just $22, a qualified plumber can install water saving devices in your home, which could reduce your water use by 21,000 litres of water a year
- DIY Water Saving Kits* - Sydney Water is offering a free Do-It-Yourself Water Saving Kit to every household in Sydney, Illawarra and the Blue Mountains. You could save up to $50 a year on your water and energy bills
- Rainwater Tank Rebates* - a rebate of up to $1,500 is available when you install a rainwater tank in an existing home
- Washing Machine Rebates* - when you purchase a washing machine with at least a 4.5 star water efficiency rating, a rebate of $150 is available.
