Councils
A number of programs have been developed to support councils ensure their water use in as efficient as possible and to increase their water recycling and stormwater harvesting.
These programs include:
- Every Drop Counts Local Government Program
- Water Savings Action Plans
- Climate Change Fund
- Urban Sustainability Grants Scheme and Environmental Trust.
Councils also have a big part to play in engaging the community in saving water. Find out about the council water education campaigns, which are a component of the Council Partnership Kit.
