Did you know that households use almost 73 per cent of the water consumed in Sydney, Illawarra and the Blue Mountains? Only by working together can we reduce the amount of water we use.
One of the ways the NSW Government is helping you to help secure Sydney's water for life, is by offering rebates that will save water in and around your home:
- WaterFix* - for just $196 (subsidised further for households experiencing financial hardship), a qualified plumber can install water saving devices in your home, which could reduce your water use by 21,000 litres of water a year
- Toilet Replacement Service* - let Sydney Water replace your single flush with a 4-star water efficient, dual flush toilet.
